To close out Randy and Kerry's Italy trip, we spent the night in Venice. The weather was fantastic and the city had died down after the Carnevale celebration the week before.

Every time I step out of the train station in Venice I'm struck by this awesome site.  The canal, the buildings, the boats...Venice!

Probably $150 per night

Randy, Kerry, and the Grand Canal

The Duke's Palace.  If you have a secret bit of gossip, write it down and anonymously deposit it into this dude's mouth.

We splurged on a gondola ride, a must for any Venice tourist

The light was awesome in the morning during our water taxi ride back to the train station

All supplies travel by boat or on foot.  No cars allowed in Venice.
