A trip to northern Italy isn't complete without a tour of the Dolomites. It's the end of ski season, so hiking or climbing was out of the question, but we jumped on a gondola and got some great views. Many of the mountain scenes in the movie Cliffhanger were filmed here.
This gondola rises 2500 ft in about 3 minutes
